COUNSELLING

Counselling helps you to explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviour to give you insights and practical ways to deal with different situation. Its aim is to give you an understanding of your experiences, and, in the light of these, to help you make any changes you may wish. You will not be given advice, but may be offered a different perspective, or help to plan actions to bring about change.

Chrissie & Richard offer a safe place to talk about issues that may be painful or embarrassing. We have used counselling to help people to recover from addictions (such as alcohol and eating disorders), build confidence and self esteem, reduce anxiety and depression, and deal with difficult life issues and transitions. WISBOROUGH also offers relationships counselling, including couples work, relationships within families, and relationships at work.

We use a holistic, transpersonal approach, acknowledging all aspects of people; mind, body, emotions and spirit. We may include visualisations, drawing, meditation and behavioural skills training, depending on your personal needs and wishes.

LIFE COACHING PROGRAMMES

These are one-to-one programmes for two hours a week over seven weeks, at a time to suit you.

Maybe you've lead a successful life, achieved things, got what you wanted, but still feel something is missing. Maybe you're at a stage in your life where you want to change, but it seems a bit daunting. Maybe you're at a transition point in your life and have an opportunity to do it differently. It's time to find the “something more”.

Who is a Life Coaching Programme for?

The Life Coaching Programme has been used successfully by a wide range of people of all ages and backgrounds; people going through midlife transitions, students in crisis, people facing retirement or redundancy, and people wanting to be more focussed in life and to move forward more positively.

This programme will help you take more control of your life as you develop confidence and a sense of purpose. You will be able to solve current problems as you become more conscious of what you think, feel, and do. It will inspire you to find a better way.
